HEALTHY HINTS for wealthy livings...


1. Always drink water half an hour before meals and half an hour after meals.
Do not take more than quator glass of water during meals. It will dilute the
digestive juices and hamper digestion.

2. Always sit and drink water. Drinking water in standing posture leads to calf muscle
pain.

3. Nothing is equal to plain water when you are thirsty. Too much sweetened juices
will draw water from intestine and make you thirsty.

4.Give 45 minutes gap between bath and breakfast to avoid gastric problems. During
bath, all digestive organs slow down. First take bath and then food.Keep the gap for
prayer, meditation and other chores.

5. There should be a minimum of two hours between dinner and going to bed.

6. Always chew food well and eat slowly for 20 minutes. This will prevent obesity and
your hunger will also be satisfied.

7.Always sit and stand in the correct postuer,with your back straight. This will help to
maintain acid, alkali balance.

8.Do not hold small children on your arm or waist very often.The posture will be one -
sided and the imbalance starts at the very young age.

9.Young girls should not cross their legs. it may cause irreguler period.

10.Do not keep your arms above shoulder level or under your head while sleeping.

11.When you do not get sleep, deep and full breath and take long, deep breaths. You
will immediately fall asleep.

12.Before sleeping take slow, deep and full breaths in the following order.First 4 breaths
lying on your left,8 breaths lying on your back and 16 breths lying on your right.
This will keep your Blood pressure always normal. And then you can sleep as you
wish.

13. Whenever there is a problem of fever,cold,joint pain ,swelling ,etc.one should
immediately stop taking sour things completely for early recovery.

14. One should take balance diet including carbohydrates, protein , fats,vitamins , minarals
,fiber content in adequate amount.

15. One should take regional,seasonal fruits and vegetables so that our body's requirements
for that particular region and season are fulfilled.

16.Persons having respriratory problems should avoid all varieties of beans. Double
beans are the worst . They should also avoid cooked beetroot. Raw beetroot is good
for increasing Hb count in Blood.

17.Greens must be washed several times before cutting. It has to be cooked with open
lid. Do not cook in pressure cooker. other vegetable have to be cooked with closed
lid and very littie water.

18.Digestion Absorption and Excretion must always be proper.

19.Everyone should observe their stools without hesitation. If you find undigested foot (UDF)
it means digestion is not proper. Sufficient amount of digestive juices are not

20.UDF leads to many problems like irregular periods, skin diseases,body weakness, Iow Hb count,vitamin and mineral deficiency,cancer,etc.

21.Drink warm milk during menstrual periods to avoid heavy bleeding.Do not take hot or very cold milk from fridge.

26.Diet and exercise play an important role to keep you healthy.You don't have to wait until youfall ill to start diet and exerise.

27.Give an outlet to your stress and strain.Some methods are attending Bhajan seaaions ,humer clubs,playing games with your children and grandchildren.

28.Watching Television during meals is very dangerous to your health.It is telepoison.

29.Do not eat when you are angry ,worried or tense.

30.Avoid Hurry! Worry ! Curry !
